Bringing Opera to All and All to Opera!

Una Voce Opera Company was founded by the McAulay Family and Friends on 26th September 1996 with the mission of: Bringing Opera to all and all to Opera at affordable prices and in accessible venues whilst educating and entertaining the public and giving singers a platform to express their art and demonstrate their voices.

Since that time, Una Voce Opera Company has produced eight fully-staged Operas and one Musical Play, featuring professional and semi-professional Principals and the Una Voce Chorus.

In addition, the company has held over two hundred Opera Concerts, several Singing Workshops with Opera Master-classes given by well-known Opera Singers and Tutors, thirteen Anniversary Opera Supper Concerts, themed nights and other similar events - many in support of well-known Charities such as SAMM (Support After Murder & Manslaughter), Mersey Heritage, The Royal British Legion, The Friends of the Liverpool Playhouse, Clatterbridge Cancer Campaign, British Red Cross, Woodlands Hospice and Jospice International; and six 'Opera in the Park Concerts' in the open-air (and televised on two occasions) at Calderstones Park, Liverpool, by kind invitation of the Liverpool Park Ranger Service.
